Dear Delegates, Esteemed Advisors, and Honorable Guests,

It is my great honor to welcome you to Benim Koleji Model United Nations.

Model United Nations is more than an academic simulation. It is an opportunity to challenge perspectives, engage in meaningful dialogue, and develop the skills necessary to address the complex issues facing our world. Through diplomacy, collaboration, and critical thinking, we learn that progress is achieved not simply by defending our own positions, but by understanding others and working together toward common solutions.

As Secretary-General, I believe that every delegate has the potential to make a meaningful contribution. Regardless of your experience, your voice matters. I encourage you to approach each debate with an open mind, defend your country’s position with confidence, and remain committed to the principles of diplomacy, respect, and cooperation.

Throughout this conference, I hope you will challenge yourselves intellectually, build lasting connections, and discover new perspectives that extend beyond the committee room. May this experience inspire you to become not only better delegates, but also more informed, responsible, and engaged global citizens.
